Bitfinex, one of the most important Bitcoin exchanges, is a fan of BCH as well. extra especially, they label this altcoin as the actual Bitcoin as we should all know it. it is the authentic promise of Bitcoin as peer-to-peer digital cash. the principal objective is to empower merchants and users through fast and reliable network confirmations. in the case of Bitcoin, this latter factor has been alternatively problematic at times. now not to mention how high priced it has gotten to send BTC to other people.

whether or not Bitfinex has large plans for this altcoin shifting forward, remains to be seen. it is one of the many buying and selling pairs at the platform, that much is obvious. however, they have no purpose to name it Bitcoin since it isn’t changing the current main chain anytime soon. Bitcoin has the most price, maximum market cap, and the general public of mining support. All of this may easily alternate in the future, though. Cryptocurrencies are constantly evolving in one direction or every other.

it is interesting to see Bitfinex label Bitcoin cash as such. more specifically, they set an interesting precedent. BCH helps claim their chain is the actual Bitcoin and will sooner or later be categorized as such. whether or not on the way to ever manifest, remains to be determined. There are a few interesting things at play, however, there's no assure of success. both currencies are very different from each other on the technical level. Which chain will dominate in the future, stays to be determined.
